1 lb. shrimp
1 tablespoon paprika
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 cup asparagus, chopped
1 medium shallots, chopped
4 garlic cloves, minced
2 cups orzo
2 cups half and half
3 cups chicken broth
1˝ cups Parmesan cheese, grated
2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped

Directions:
Directions:
Season shrimp with paprika. In a large skillet heat olive oil and cook shrimp. Remove and keep warm. In the same skillet add onion and garlic and sauté for 3 to 5 minutes minutes. Add more olive oil if needed. Add orzo and sauté for 1 to 2 minutes to get the pasta a little brown and toasted. Add the half and half then the chicken broth. Bring to a boil, cover and let cook 10 minutes, adding the asparagus the last 3 minutes. Remove the lid and stir in cheese and shrimp. Garnish with parsley. Enjoy!
