Peanut oil (best for frying) but any will do
1 c. beer (pick your favorite)
1 c. all-purpose flour
2 tsp. salt, plus more to season to taste
1/2 tsp. ground black pepper, plus more to season to taste
1 lb. fresh green beans, ends trimmed

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oil to 375ºF. Whisk the beer, flour, salt, and pepper until smooth. Dip green beans into the batter to coat, letting excess drip off. Fry in the oil in batches until the golden and crisp. Remove batches from oil with a spider strainer to a paper lined tray.
Season to taste. Use the dip of your choice.

I love the fried green beans at TGI Fridays and this is the closest I could find to their recipe. Haven't found the recipe for their Wasabi dip, yet.
