1 lb boneless top sirloin steak (1" thick)
3/4 c dry sherry
3/4 c low sodium soy sauce
1 T vegetable oil
1/2 t dry mustard
1/8 t onion powder
3 cloves garlic, minced


1 1/2 T dark corn syrup
1 T water
2 t cornstarch

To prepare for freezing:
1. In a bowl whisk sherry, soy sauce, oil, mustard, onion powder & garlic. Reserve
1/2 cup in a small baggie. Put the rest in a large gallon baggie and include steak
for a marinade.
2. In a quart size baggie add: corn syrup, water, cornstarch.
3. Add a rice pilaf bag

Freeze. Thaw in refrigerator.

Remove steak from marinade and discard the left over marinade. Grill 5-6 minutes each side. While steak is grilling, Heat the reserved marinate with the corn syrup mixture bring to a boil over medium-low heat and cook stirring constantly for 1 minute. Remove from heat set aside. Slice grilled meat diagonally across grain. Brush with cooked sherry mixture; serve with rice.
