Chocolate Cake Mix, prepared (I use Pillsbury Devils Food)
Container of Fudge Frosting ( I use Pillsbury Fudge Frosting)
1 cup semi sweet or milk chocolate chips ( I have always used milk chocolate)

1) Spray a 4-6 Quart Crockpot

2) Combine all ingredients in the order listed above. In other words, prepare cake mix as directed on box, pour into greased/sprayed crockpot, drop fudge frosting by spoonfuls into cake mix and then sprinkle the chocolate chips over the top.

3) Set your crockpot on high for 2-2.5 hours. Check it as it approaches two hours to make sure it doesn't burn.

4) Scoop into bowls and top with ice cream or whipped cream.

This sounded good so I tried it and it is a huge hit and so very good! I try to make homemade ice cream every time we have this. Makes a lot and would be great to take to a potluck or family get together.
