1 1/2 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup vegetable shortening
1 egg
1 cup buttermilk
2 cups flour
1 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
1 1/2 cups chopped rhubarb
1 tsp vanilla
1/3 cup sugar
1 tsp cinnamon

Directions:
Directions:
1. Mix all of the above, except 1/3 cup sugar and cinnamon and pour the mixture into a greased & floured 9x13 pan.

2. Sprinkle the top with remaining 1/3 cup sugar & cinnamon.

3. Bake 50 minutes in a 350º oven.

Serve topped with whipped cream and vanilla cream.
