1 ½ c. crushed pretzels
4 ½ T. white sugar
¾ c. butter, melted
1 c. White sugar
2 8 oz. pkgs. cream cheese
1 8 oz frozen cool whip, thawed
1 6 oz. pkg. strawberry jello
2 c. Boiling water
1 16 oz. frozen strawberries, or fresh, if desired

Preheat oven to 350º. In 9x13 pan, mix pretzels, 4 ½ t. sugar, and melted butter.Press into bottom of a 9x13 pan. Bake for 10 minutes. Set aside to cool completely

In medium bowl, beat sugar and cream cheese until smooth. Fold in cool whip. Spread over cooled crust. Refrigerate until set, about 30 minutes.

In a medium bowl, stir together the jello and boiling water. Mix in frozen strawberries, and stir until thawed. Pour over creamed cheese mixture in pan. Refrigerate until completely chilled, at least one hour.
