2 cups rolled oats
2 cups milk
2 T. Butter
2 tsp. Salt
½ cup brown sugar or molasses
1 pkg. Yeast
¼ cup warm water
5 cups flour

Directions:
Directions:
Scald milk and pour over rolled oats, sugar, salt and butter. Cool. Soak yeast in warm water and add to oats mixture when cooled. Stir in flour, knead until smooth and elastic. Place in warm place to rise until doubled Shape into two loaves and place in greased loaf pans and let rise. Bake at 375º for 40 minutes.
