24 oz bottle Grandma's molasses (no other brand is the same)
4/5 c sugar
2/5 c shortening
4/5 c milk
4/5 c raisins, chopped
4/5 c white raisins, chopped
2/5 tsp cloves
2/5 tsp cinnamon
2/5 tsp nutmeg
2/5 tsp allspice
2/5 tsp salt
3 T baking soda
7 1/2 c flour, or more till dough isn't sticky

Frosting:
1/3 c water
1 c sugar
1 beaten egg white
1 c miniature marshmallows
1 tsp vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350 - 375º.

Mix all together. Drop from a spoon or roll out and cut into squares.

Bake for 10-minutes, cool.

4/5 cup equals almost 1 cup
2/5 cup equals almost 1/2 c
2/5 tsp equals almost 1/2 teaspoon

Frosting:
Boil above till you can spin in a thread. Pour over 1 beaten egg white, 1 cup miniature marshmallows and 1 teaspoon vanilla. Beat together til marshmallows are melted. Frost cooled cookies.
