Baked pie crust
2/3 c. brown sugar
1/4 c. cream
3 egg yolks
1/4 tsp. salt
1/3 c. flour
2 c. milk

Meringue:
3 egg whites
6 tsp. sugar
1/4 tsp cream of tartar

Directions:
Directions:
In a pan, carmelize the brown sugar and cream until medium brown. Combine the egg yolks, salt, flour and milk. Shake flour with part of the milk until smooth, then combine the rest of the ingredients until thick. Pour into baked crust. For meringue, beat egg whites, sugar and cream of tartar until thick and stiff peaks form. Spread over pie and bake at 325ºF for 12-15 minutes.
