3 c. flour
3 c. chicken broth
1 chicken
1 tsp. salt
1 egg

Directions:
Directions:
Make chicken broth by simmering 1 chicken in 3 c. water. Cool 1 c. chicken broth and add to flour, salt and egg. Knead with flour until "workable." Roll out ¼ of dough at a time onto floured surface until thin. Cut into 1½-inch strips (dumpling size). Put out on cloth to dry, then drop into hot broth one at a time. Cut up chicken and add to broth mixture.
