1 lb. fresh Brussels sprouts (about 5 cups)
4 bacon strips, coarsely chopped
2 garlic cloves, minced
⅓ c. chicken broth
¼ tsp. salt
⅛ tsp. pepper

Directions:
Directions:
Trim the Brussels sprouts. Cut Brussels sprouts lengthwise in half; cut crosswise into thin slices. In a 4-quart stockpot, cook the bacon over medium heat until crisp, stirring occasionally. Add the garlic; cook 30 seconds longer. Remove with a slotted spoon; drain on paper towels. Add the sliced Brussels sprouts to the bacon drippings; cook and stir 4 - 6 minutes or until Brussels sprouts begin to brown lightly. Stir in the chicken broth, salt and pepper; cook covered 4 - 6 minutes longer or until Brussels sprouts are tender. Stir in the bacon mixture.
