1 refrigerated pie crust unbaked
2 white onions sliced
2 tablespoons butter
8 slices bacon
8 large eggs
1-and 1/2 cups heavy cream
dash salt to taste
2 cups sharp cheddar cheese

Directions:
Directions:
1 fry onions in the butter in over medium heat for approximately 12-20
minutes, stir occasionally until the onions are deep golden brown.
2.Set aside
3. Fry bacon until chewy. Chop into large bite sized pieces and also set aside
to cool.
4. Preheat oven to 400º.
5. Roll out pie crust and press it into a large fluted deep tart pan or any kind of
deep dish pie pan.
6. Whip the eggs, cream, salt pepper in a large bowl.
7. Mix in onions, bacon and cheese. Pour the mixture into the pie crust.
8. Place pan on a rimmed baking sheet and cover lightly with aluminum foil
bake for approximately 40 to 45 minutes.
9. Remove foil and continue baking for 10 to 15 minutes.
10. Remove from the oven and allow to sit for about 10 minutes.
