½ cup Sugar
1 tsp Salt
⅔ cup Crisco Shortening
2 Eggs, beaten
1 pkg Dry Yeast
¼ cup Warm Water
1 cup Milk - Scalded
1 cup Mashed Potatoes

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350 º. In small bowl mix yeast and warm water and set aside. With mixer combine sugar and shortening until mixed well then add salt; eggs; scalded milk; mashed potatoes and mix well then add the yeast slowly add flour a little at a time to make the dough thick enough to roll out. Place on un-greased cookie sheet and bake until golden brown.

I found this recipe in Mom's little book and there were no directions at all just the list of ingredients. It came from Aunt Mary Elizabeth McIntosh.
