2 cups Corn Meal Mix
1 Egg
1 Large Onion - finely chopped
1 cup Milk

Directions:
Directions:
Add chopped onion to corn meal mix and stir in the milk and egg. Drop by spoonfuls into deep hot grease. When done they will float. Place a cookie cooling rack on a cookie sheet and place the hush puppies on the cooling rack to drain when you take them out of the grease. Original recipe calls for them to be placed on brown paper to drain.
