1 tablespoon olive oil
6 cups shredded cabbage
1 pound ground beef
15 oz canned tomatoes — diced
1 large onion
2 cloves garlic
1 tsp salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
5 beef broth
1/2 tsp thyme
1/2 tsp paprika
1/2 tsp oregano
1 bay leaf — optional

Directions:

Set the Instant Pot to "saute" (15 minutes), wait until it is hot.

Add the oil (optional) and the ground beef. Cook the beef until no longer pink (5 minutes).

Add the onion and garlic, cook for 2 minutes.

Add tomatoes, broth, seasoning, salt, pepper and bay leaf.

Add cabbage on top.

Close, set the valve to sealing and set to 20 minutes on high pressure.

Do a quick pressure release when done. Open lid, remove bay leaf, add more salt if needed.

Serve hot.
