Gary’s Granola
10-11 cups - old-fashioned rolled oats
1 cup - wheat germ or wheat bran
2 cups - shredded coconut
2 cups - sunflower seeds
½ - 1 cup - sesame seeds or hemp seeds
3 cups- chopped nuts (any kinds)

Mix together in large bowl
Pre-heat oven to 300 degrees

In saucepan stir and heat ingredients below to dissolved but don’t let it boil
1 ½ cups - brown sugar
1 ½ cups – water
1 ½ cups – vegie oil
½ cup – honey
½ cup – molasses
1 ½ tsp – salt
Remove from heat and add 3 teaspoons – vanilla and 2 tsp cinnamon (optional).

Directions:
Directions:
Stir sauce into oat mixture.
Spread on cookie sheets or pans, not too thick (plan on 5 pans or so)
Bake for 35 – 40 minutes with a good stir/turning half way through. Longer for crunchier.
Add dried fruits such as raisins, apricots, cranberries, banana chips or whatever.
