1 pound spaghetti or bucatini
1 Tbsp. olive oil
1 c. diced bacon or pancetta
2 Tbsp. minced garlic
1/4 tsp. chile flakes
2 Tbsp. tomato paste
1 28. oz can whole tomatoes
1/4 tsp. oregano

Directions:
Directions:
Cook bacon in olive oil over medium heat until it begins to crisp.
Add garlic and chile flakes and cook one minute.
Stir in tomato paste and cook another minute.
Add tomatoes and crush to irregular bits. Add oregano and simmer 10-15 minutes.

Meanwhile bring a large pot of water to a boil and add pasta.
Cook until al dente.

Add a bit of pasta water to the sauce if needed to stretch it out.
To serve, top with grated parmesan or pecorino.
