6-8 slices of ham cut into small pieces
1/2 tsp. cream of tartar
2 onions - sliced
1 can cream of mushroom soup
8-10 potatoes - peeled & sliced
1 cup water
1 cup grated cheddar cheese
salt & pepper to taste

Dissolve cream of tartar in water & pour over potatoes. Drain well & put 1/2 of the potatoes in the crock pot. Add half the ham & 1/2 of the onions.

Sprinkle with salt & pepper and then 1/2 of the cheese. Repeat process with the other half of ingredients.

Spoon the undiluted mushroom soup over the top. Sprinkle paprika over the soup layer.

Cover & cook 8-10 hrs. on low heat.
