1 cup butter
2 cups sugar
1 cup buttermilk
2 1/2 cups flour
4 eggs
1 tsp soda
1 cup nuts (1/2 pecans, 1/2 black walnuts)
1/2 tsp salt
1 cup jam (3/4 c seedless blackberry, 1/4 c strawberry)
1 cup raisins
1 cup coconut
1 tsp nutmeg
1 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp allspice
1 tsp vanilla

1/4 cup wine

1 8 ounce package cream cheese
1/2 stick butter

1 pound box powdered sugar
1 tsp vanilla


Directions:
Directions:
Cream together butter, sugar, and buttermilk. Add in flour, eggs, and soda and beat until combined. Add in nuts, salt, jams, raisins, coconut, nutmeg, cinnamon, allspice, and vanilla. Line and grease three 9" cake pans. Cook at 375º for 45 minutes

On each cooked layer drizzle 1/4 cup wine.


Icing: Cream together cream cheese and butter. Add powdered sugar and vanilla and beat until smooth.
