1 cup shortening
4 squares baking chocolate
1 1/2 cup flour - sifted
2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
4 eggs - beaten
2 cups sugar
2 tsp. vanilla
Directions:
Directions:
Melt shortening & chocolate together - set aside

Combine flour, baking powder & salt - set aside.

Combine eggs & sugar. Add the chocolate mixture & mix well, then add flour mixture and stir, add vanilla.

Bake @ 350 for 17-20 min.

This recipe came from a good friend of my Son's Paul. They are just about the most delicious brownies I have ever had.
