2 c all-purpose flour
1 T baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp baking soda
1/3 c shortening
1 c sourdough starter

Directions:
Directions:
Combine flour, baking powder, salt, and baking soda. Cut in shortening till mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Add starter. Stir till dough clings together.

Knead on a lightly floured surface and knead 10-12 times. Roll out or pat into 3/4 inch thickness. Cut with biscuit cutter. Place on an uncreased baking sheet. Let rise 10 minutes.

Bake at 450º for 12 minutes.
