Ingredients:
Ingredients:
1 lb spicy ground Italian sausage
4 T butter
1/2 white onion, diced
1 T minced garlic
2 cans chicken broth
2 c water
4 potatoes, peeled and diced bite size
1 t salt
1/2 t black pepper
2 c heavy cream
4 c chopped kale

Directions:
Directions:
Saute sausage until browned. Remove with slotted spoon and set aside. Add butter and saute onions until translucent. Add garlic and cook another minute. Add chicken broth, water, potatoes, salt, and pepper and bring to a boil. Boil until potatoes are done. Stir in the kale and cream. Add the sausage.

Personal Notes:
Personal Notes:
This is supposed to be the Olive Garden Zuppa Toscana soup. But we aren't big fans of kale, so I used Napa cabbage instead. I added the chopped up cabbage to the soup and continued boiling for a few more minutes. Instead of the Italian sausage, I sliced up Kielbasa and browned it. I think this would taste fine with whatever type of sausage or cabbage you like.
