1 C. Sugar
2 T. (Heaping) Cocoa
4 T. (Heaping) Flour
2 C. Milk
3 Eggs
1/2 Stick Butter
1 Tsp. Vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350º.
Mix dry ingredients.
Heat the milk and mix with dry ingredients.
Divide egg yolks and whites, set aside.
Cook milk mixture over low heat and stir with wire whip. (This takes a long time...you must keep stirring it or it will lump).
When it starts to get thick, beat the egg yolks and add some of the hot mixture then add to custard and cook until real thick.
Add butter & vanilla.
Pour into baked pie shell.
Beat egg whites, add 1/4 C. sugar & add to pie & bake until top gets a little brown.
