Éclair Ring Recipe

1 c boiling water
1 stick margarine
1 c flour
1/2 tsp salt
4 eggs

2 pkg instant vanilla pudding
2 1/2c milk
1 tsp vanilla
1/2 pt whipped cream

1 sq bakers chocolate
1 c confectioners sugar
1/2 tsp margarine
2 1/2 tsp hot water

Directions:
Directions:
Melt butter in water.
Add flour and salt and stir into a ball.
Remove heat and cool slightly
Add one egg at a time, beating until smooth.
Form oval ring on greased cookie sheet.
Bake 400º for 40 minutes.
Turn oven off and let ring remain in oven for 15 minutes.
Let cool.
Slice in half to form 2 layers.

Mix pudding and milk until thick.
Mix vanilla and whip cream in a separate bowl.
Combine pudding & whipped cream.
Spread over 1 layer of ring then top filling with remaining ring.

Mix chocolate, sugar, margarine and hot water.
Spread over ring.
