2 lb tart cooking apples
1 1/2 c grape juice
7 1/2 c firmly packed brown sugar
1/2 tsp butter
1/2 bottle liquid fruit pectin
1/2 tsp cinnamon

Directions:
Directions:
Wash apples, remove stems and blossom ends.
Finely dice apples into large saucepan. Do not peel or core.
Add grape juice.
Cover and simmer for about 15 minutes or until tender.
Sieve mixture.
Measure 5 cups sieved apples. Add more grape juice if needed to make 5 cups.
Add all of sugar and butter.
Bring to a rolling boil over high heat.
Boil vigorously for 1 minute.
Remove from heat and stir in liquid pectin and cinnamon.
Stir frequently for 5 minutes.
Pour into hot sterilized jars and seal.
