6 tart apples, sliced
1 tsp lemon juice
¼ c pig oil (or 1 stick butter)
¼ c brown sugar
⅛ tsp salt
1 tsp cinnamon
1 dash nutmeg

Directions:
Directions:
Melt bacon drippings (or butter); pour in apples.
Sprinkle lemon juice over, then sugar, then salt.
Cover & cook over low heat 15 min.
Sprinkle w/cinnamon & nutmeg.
Serve warm.
Refrigerate for later!
