1¾ cups boiling water
1 cup oatmeal
1 cup lightly packed brown sugar
1 cup granulated sugar
1 stick margarine
2 extra large eggs
1¾ cup unsifted flour
1 teaspoon soda
½ teaspoon salt
1 package of chocolate chips
¾ cup nuts
Directions:
Directions:
Pour boiling water over oatmeal, let stand for 10 minutes. Add sugar and margarine. Add eggs, mix well. Add flour mixture and ½ cup of chocolate chips to the batter, put the rest on the top with the nuts. Bake 350º for 40 minutes.
