Personal Notes:
I got to know Mami when I went to South Africa in January 1991 and was pregnant with my daughter,Teesta. To this day I remember Mami’s delicious food and garam rotlis, giving them to me first and making Mama wait !
Dear Mami, Wishing you a wonderful birthday with all my heart. I will never forget the kindness you showed me when I needed it the most.
With my love and respects,Alka.
