1 c. flour
1/4 c. powdered sugar
1/8 tsp salt
1/2 c. butter

Directions:
Directions:
Mix together dry ingredients and cut butter into mixture. Press into an 8x8x2 greased pan. Bake at 325 degrees for 15 minutes.
 

Filling & Glaze

1 c. sugar
2 TBSP flour
1/2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
2 slightly beaten eggs
2 TBSP fresh lemon juice
1 tsp lemon rind

Directions:
Directions:
Mix and spread over the baked crust. Cook at 325 degrees for 25 minutes. Cool slightly and ice after mixing with:

1/2 c. powdered sugar
1 TBSP lemon juice
1 TBSP melted butter
Any remaining lemon rind.

These are delicious and I know one of Amelia's favorites. They always bring back wonderful memories of Grandma Fern and her lemon colored house in the U.P. Recipe can be doubled and put in a 9x13 inch pan so there are plenty to share with neighbors. I know from doing so that Carol Halsaver loves these!
