Ingredients:  
1c flour
1/2 c oleo
2 tbsp water

1/2 c oleo
1 c water
1 tsp almond extract
3 eggs
1 c flour

Directions:
Directions:
Measure in 1st cup of flour into bowl. Cut in oleo
Sprinkle with 2 tbsp water and mix into a ball
Divide in half
Pat each into 12x3 strips on cookie sheet
Mix 2nd amount of oleo and water in saucepan. Bring to boil
Add almond extract and remove from heat
Stir in flour and mix
Beat in eggs one at a time
Divide mixture in half and spread evenly over pastry
Bake 350º about 60 minutes or until golden brown
When cool frost with confectioners frosting and sprinkle with nuts and cherries
