Ingredients: 1 lb stew meat
1 tbsp. coconut oil
1 small sweet potato (chopped)
1/2 cup carrots (chopped)
1/2 cup green beans (chopped)
1/2 cup flour
1/2-1 cup water

Directions: |
Directions:Cut the stew meat into pieces appropriately sized for your dog. Add the coconut oil to a frying pan, and let it melt over medium heat. Add the stew meat to the pan, and cook it until it is well done.
While the stew meat is cooking, cook the sweet potato in the microwave for 5 minutes or until softened. Be sure to poke some holes in the sweet potato before putting it in the microwave.
When the stew meat is well done, remove the meat from the pan and set it aside. Place the drippings back on medium heat. Slowly whisk in the flour and water to create a gravy.
Add the meat and vegetables to the gravy mixture, and stir to combine this nutritionally complete homemade dog food. Cover the pan and cook until the carrots are tender – about 10-15 minutes.
You can store this recipe in the refrigerator in an airtight container for up to 5 days. You can also prepare it in large quantities and freeze it for up to 2 months. |
