24 Large ripe cucumbers
1/2 c salt
Gallon Water

1 1/2 c vinegar
1 1/2 c water

3 pints vinegar
3 tbs pickling spice
3 - 4 c sugar -- 1/2 white sugar / 1/2 brown sugar

Directions:
Directions:
Slice pickles and soak overnight in mix of 1/2 c salt in 1 gallon of water.
Drain.
Soak in mix of 1 1/2c water and 1 1/2 c vinegar and Drain.
Heat mix of vinegar, spices, and sugar.
Pack cucumbers in jars and cover with hot vinegar mix.
Seal hot.
