Notes: As a Christmas Eve tradition after we were married your dad either made this or She-Crab Soup(the She-Crab Soup was a favorite from Hudson's in Hilton Head Island, SC where we honeymooned). It is delicious and worth the time and effort. However, I don't think anyone of us will forget Christmas 2020 (Yes, the year of the pandemic!) when Amelia graciously made the soup however we left it on the burner and burnt the heck out of it. NO SOUP FOR YOU! It was a year without the chowder but luckily we had the ingredients for homemade pizzas and the festivities continued. xoxo
