1 3/4 c all-purpose flour
2 1/4 tsp baking powder
2 T sugar
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 c butter
2 eggs
1/3 c half & half
1 tsp orange rind, grated

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 450.

In a large mixing bowl, combine flour baking powder, sugar and salt. Add butter and cut into flour mixture with a pastry blender.

In a separate bowl, combine eggs, half & half, and orange rind. Add to flour mixture and stir until just blended.

Place dough on a floured surface and pat out into a circle about 3/4 inch thick. Cut dough into 6-8 wedges. Place scones on a parchment paper covered baking sheet.

Bake 15 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean.
