2 c flour
1/3 c brown sugar
1 tsp baking powder
1 tsp cinnamon
1/2 tsp cloves
1/2 tsp ginger
1/2 tsp nutmeg
1/2 tsp baking soda
1/4 tsp salt
1 stick unsalted butter; cold and cubed
1/2 c pumpkin puree
1 egg
3 T milk
1 tsp vanilla

White Glaze:
1 1/4 c powdered sugar
2 T milk

Spice Glaze:
1 c powdered sugar
1/4 tsp cinnamon
1/8th tsp cloves
1/8th tsp ginger
Pinch nutmeg
1 1/2 TBSP milk

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 400º. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Whisk together flour, brown sugar, baking powder, baking soda, salt and spices.

Using a pastry blender cut butter into dry ingredients until mixture resembles coarse meal.

Whisk together, pumpkin puree, eggs, milk and vanilla. Add to dry ingredients and mix until just combined.

Dump onto parchment paper and shape into 8 inch round circle and about 1/2 inch thick. Use a flour dusted knife to cut into 8 wedges. Space evenly on the baking sheet.

Bake 12-15 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean. Cool for 15 minutes. Make Glaze and drizzle over cool scones and set for 15 minutes before serving.
