1 pkg instant pistachio pudding mix
8 oz sour cream
1/2 c buttery flavored vegetable or canola oil
1 pkg butter flavored cake mix

Filling

3 t cinnamon
3 T sugar
1/2 c shopped nuts

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350 and grease bundt pan.

Mix filling in a small town and set aside. (Note: we often make a little extra filling.... 1.5x recipe works nicely)

Combine cake mix, pudding mix, pie and sour cream in a large bowl and mix thoroughly.

Pour 1/2 of batter into cake pan and then sprinkle filling evenly on the batter. Fill cake pan with remaining batter.

Bake 50 minutes and then cool for 20 minutes before removing from pan.

Can be served as is OR make a glaze with powdered sugar and milk.

This is Carol's birthday cake, made every year by Stu. He typically adds a few drops of green food coloring to the glaze and then decorates the cake with halved maraschino cherries so it truly looks like a Christmas Birthday cake.
