3/4 c. unsalted butter
3 c. cake flour
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. sea salt, fine
1 1/4 c. sour cream
4 tsp. vanilla
2 c. sugar
6 large eggs

Frosting
1/2 c. unsalted butter, softened
1/2 c. dark brown sugar
1/2 c. heavy cream
3 3/4 c. powdered sugar
1 tsp. vanilla

Directions:
Mix cake ingredients. Butter two 9" round pans, then cut parchment paper in circles and place on bottom of pans. Then butter again and flour. Pour in cake mixture. Bake at 350 for 30-40 minutes. Frost.
