3/4 cup dark brown sugar
3/4 cup white sugar
1/2 cup evaporated milk
2 tablespoons butter
1 teaspoon vanilla
2 handfuls of pecans

Directions:
Directions:
Cook the brown sugar, white sugar, and evaporated milk over medium heat, stirring until candy makes a softball in cold water. Remove from heat and mix in the butter and vanilla. Add two handfuls of pecans and mix.
Drop on wax paper and cool.

This recipe does not work if doubled. Make two separate batches if need more.
