⅓ cup Flour
1 cup Sugar
¼ tsp. salt
2 cups Whole Milk
6 T. Cocoa
2 T. Butter
3 beaten Egg Yolks
½ tsp. vanilla
1 Pie Shell baked

Directions:
Directions:
Mix flour, sugar, salt and cocoa. Bring milk to scalding and then add dry ingredients. Cook over boiling water or double boiler stirring often until thick. Add butter and egg yolks and cook 2 more minutes. Remove from stove and add vanilla.

Pour into baked pie shell and cool before cutting.

NOTE: If you like meringue, you can use the left over egg whites.

This is my grandmother's recipe and she always made this pie without meringue and we loved it. Pure chocolate and so good.
