1 cup all purpose flour
1 tbsp sugar
2 tsp baking powder
½ tsp salt
1 egg
¾ cup milk
¼ melted shortening or butter

Directions:
Directions:
1. In large bowl combine flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt. In small bowl combine egg, milk, and melted shortening/butter, then pour into dry ingredients. Combine until just moistened, don't over mix.
2. Pour by ladel full onto hot greased griddle and flip once bubbles form. Pancakes are done when golden brown.
3. Serve slathered with syrup and a side of your favorite breakfast meat or topped with fresh fruit and whipped cream.
