1 1/3 cups sugar
1/2 teaspoon almond extract
1/3 cup all purpose flour
2 tablespoons butter melted
2 (14 1/2-ounce) cans pitted tart red cherries drained well

Directions:
Directions:
Mix all ingredients together. May be stored in the refrigerator for up to 2 days. When ready to make pie, remove filling from the refrigerator and allow it to come to room temperature. Bake at 350°F for 45 minutes or until crust is golden brown.
