12 slices white bread
8 oz. block of cream cheese, softened
2 T. chopped green onions
8 bacon strips, crumbled
24 fresh asparagus
¼ cup butter or margarine, melted
3 T. Parmesan cheese

Directions:
Directions:
Stack bread slices in groups of 4 to 6 and slice crust off with serrated knife. Flatten each slice of bread with a rolling pin. In a small bowl, combine cream cheese, onions and bacon. Spread this mixture over bread slices and place one or two asparagus spears on each one (cut spears to fit bread). Roll up bread and place seam side down on a greased baking sheet. Brush with butter; sprinkle with Parmesan cheese. Bake at 400° for 10 to 12 minutes or until lightly browned.
