2 cans of chickpeas
1 jar of tahini (can use a little less if you prefer)
1 tsp cumin
1 tbsp salt
A few cloves of garlic (I cheat and use a large frozen cube)
1 and a quarter cup ice water
2-3 lemons (depending on how lemony your like it)

Chuck all the ingredients into a blender and blend until you’re happy with the consistency. It will last you a week in the fridge but ours is usually finished within a few days! It make a LOT But it’s delicious and goes with everything.

This has become a staple in our house because it takes five minutes to make and is so much better than store bought hummus! I’ve tried lots of different hummus recipes but found one and tweaked it a little and it’s a winner in our house.
