½ c. shortening
½ c. butter, softened
1 c. packed brown sugar
¾ c. sugar
1 c. peanut butter
2 eggs
1 ½ c. flour
2 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
1 c. quick-cooking oats

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350º. In a large bowl, cream together shortening, butter, sugars, and peanut butter until smooth. Beat in eggs one at a time until well blended. Combine the flour, baking soda, and salt; stir into the creamed mixture. Mix in the oats until just combined. Drop teaspoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheets. Bake 10-15 minutes, or till just light brown. Cool and enjoy!
