3 cups flour
1 1/2 cups brown sugar, packed
1 cup oats
3/4 cup margarine
7 cups apples, peeled and thinly sliced
1 cup water
1 cup sugar
1 tbsp cornstarch
1 tsp butter
1 tsp vanilla flavoring

Directions:
Directions:
Combine flour, brown sugar, oats and margarine until crumbly. Reserve 1 cup for topping.
Line a 12x8” pan with remaining crumbs.
Arrange apples on crumbs.
Boil water, sugar and cornstarch until thick; add butter and vanilla; pour over apples.
Top with remaining crumbs.
Bake 350º for 40 minutes or until top is browned and apples are cooked.
Serve warm or cold, topped with whip cream or ice cream.
