3 cups rice
1 tablespoon paprika
2 cloves garlic minced
5 green onions and tops chopped
2 tablespoons corn starch
1/4 cup soy sauce
1 lb. sirloin steak, cut into strips
2 tablespoons butter
1 1/2 cup water
3 beef bouillon cubes (add to the water)
1 bell pepper cut into strips
large tomato chopped (optional)

Directions:

Cut meat into small strips and brown in a pan with the butter. Sprinkle with the paprika. Add broth and garlic, simmer for 45 minutes. Stir in onions and peppers and cook for about 8 minutes. Add corn starch, soy sauce in the water and cook until thickened. Add tomatoes (optional)

Serve over rice.

in a large pot of boiling salted water, cook the corn for 3 minutes. Drain and immerse it in ice water to stop the cooking. When the corn is cooled, cut the kernels off the cob.

toss the kernels in a large bowl with the red onion, vinegar, olive oil, salt, and pepper. Just before serving toss in the fresh basil.

Serve cold or a room temperature.
