2 c. Chicken Broth
2 c. Milk
⅓ c. Butter, cubed
¾ teas. Salt
Black Pepper, to taste
¾ c. Old-Fashioned Grits, uncooked
1 c. Cheddar Cheese, shredded

Shrimp:
8 Bacon Strips, chopped
1 lb. Shrimp, uncooked, peeled and deveined
3 Garlic Cloves, minced
1 teas. Blackened Seasoning
4 Green Onions, chopped

Directions:
Directions:
Bring broth, milk, butter, salt and pepper to a boil.
Slowly stir in grits.
Cover and cook for 12-14 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Stir in cheese until melted.
Set aside and keep warm.

Cook bacon until crisp. Place on paper towel.
Reserve 4 teas. Bacon drippings.
Sauté shrimp, garlic and seasoning in drippings until shrimp turn pink.
Serve with grits and sprinkle with onions.
