2 cups flour
1½ tsp baking soda
2 tsp ginger
½ tsp salt
1 cup molasses
1 cup sour milk
1 egg
½ cup shortening
Directions:
Directions:
Sift dry ingredients together.
Mix molasses with milk.
Beat egg, milk mixture and shortening.
Add dry ingredients, beat until smooth.
Pour into greased 9” square pan.
Bake 350º for 30-35 minutes.
Start center testing 5 minutes before done.
