4 slices thick-cut bacon
8 oz. fresh mushrooms, chopped
1/2 C. diced onion
1 lb. ground beef
1 can (8 oz) sauerkraut, drained
2 T. brown sugar
1/2 C. sour cream
Hamburger buns

Directions:
Directions:
In a large skillet, cook bacon over medium-low heat until crisp. Transfer bacon to paper towels. Add mushrooms and onion to skillet with drippings; cook over medium heat, stirring frequently until vegetables are tender and any liquid has cooked away. Add ground beef and cook, stirring to break up, until meat is no longer pink. Drain excess grease from skillet. Crumble bacon and add to skillet. Add sauerkraut and brown sugar; cook until sauerkraut is hot, stirring occasionally. Blend sour cream into skillet and cook until mixture is bubbly, stirring frequently. Serve in hamburger buns.
