1lb frozen or fresh peas
1/2 lb small pasta shells
1 sm onion diced
2 cups chicken or vegetable broth
1/2 cup granted parmigiana or pecorino romano cheese
Olive oil
Salt and pepper to taste

Directions:
Directions:
Sauté onion in olive oil for about 5 minutes
Stir in peas
Add broth and bring to a boil
Add pasta and stir often. Add water or more broth if needed
When pasta is done add grated cheese
Mix well and serve.

OPTIONAL - if you like prefer a red sauce add 1/2 to 1 cup of left over spaghetti sauce or jar sauce (don’t tell grandma) to onions, peas and broth. Cook the pasta in a separate pan and add to sauce mixture
Add grated cheese and serve
